i wrote a fair bit of prolog code back in the early '90s, in grad school. ai was a thing, but it was an arcane thing, constrained in concept and by hardware. we did not then realize that attention was all we needed.
but now... wow.
i've spent the best part of the last two months working with claude, codex and antigravity. and a few local models on my macbookpro. i know there are a gazillion connected issues to be concerned about, but for me it's like christmas every day. i'm building all the tools i've ever wanted, learning skills that fill me with creative joy, riffing on multiple projects concurrently till my head hurts.
anyway.
ai.
its delightful!
